When two disorders or illnesses occur simultaneously in the exact same person, they are simultaneous. Display surveys as drug addiction and other mental illnesses are often concomitant. Six of the 10 people with abuse problems compound could also suffer from another type of mental illness. The high prevalence of comorbidities does not indicate that the condition causes the other, even if it appears in certain first. Drug abuse is mental illness. Mental illness can lead to addiction.
